Once the faulty alternator was confirmed, we removed the unit, inspected the drive belt and pulley alignment, and fitted a fresh replacement. Post-fit testing is where the real value lies — we hooked up the multimeter and confirmed a steady 14.20V charge rate, then load-tested the system to make sure it held up under real-world conditions.
